Simply notes, synced with Dropbox, Google Docs and more - Noteless for iPhone

I'm sick and tired of Notes app on iPhone.  What makes it even worse, is that they are out of sync all the freaking time.  If I need something to remember on the go, I can't just make a note - I feel that I have to deal with the whole world to keep them up.  It makes my life complicated and less joy.

Until today.  I welcome Noteless for iPhone http://www.notelessapp.com  This is kick-ass app for iPhone that can make simple notes, and sync them everywhere.  If this doesn't appeal to you enough that means you probably don't live in information era, yet.

What could be better?  Only if you will get it for free (it's still cheap, while it's new on the market).  Updated: Unfortunately, I have only limited number of promo codes, and they run away fast.

Do you want to get it for free?  This is easy.  Twit about it and comment to this post why you want it - tell me any situation when you wanted it so much but it wasn't around (until today :).  And you'll get it.

First come - first served.  Free it is.

Apple wants Dropbox

A yet to be confirmed rumour indicates that Apple had offered to buy Dropbox for $800 million but the increasingly popular startup has declined the offer.

That would make perfect sense, and I would love to see this acquisition passing through, however, bearing in mind multiple billion valuation, $800 million offer makes very little sense.

P.S. I don't think that multiple billion valuation makes sense either.

Groupon Traffic Decline Nearly 50%

Has Groupon's ship sailed? Well, with its IPO pending, the group-buying leader has seen traffic decline nearly 50% since its peak in the second week of June.

That's according to new Hitwise data based on Web-based traffic, but excluding mobile and app-specific traffic.

"Regardless ... the drop-off in Groupon traffic this summer has been significant," according to Bill Tancer, GM of global research at Hitwise.

During the same time period, rival Living Social saw a 27% increase in visits to its site.

Who's going to be next to bid on Yahoo?

Yahoo! Inc. has cost its shareholders so much money that a buyer would now be able take over the most- visited U.S. Web portal for less than the value of its stakes in Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. and Yahoo Japan Corp. (4689)

Yahoo has plummeted 91 percent over the past decade as it failed to keep Google Inc. (GOOG) and Facebook Inc. from siphoning off Internet users and advertising revenue.

New wave of bids is coming, what do you think?

Keep me signed in for 2 weeks...

Media_https3amazonaws_piwap

One of answers seems to make sense:

The 2 weeks duration comes from the Fortnight unit, which is some kind of old english for 2 weeks.

A single Fortnight is 1209600 seconds, or 1209600000 millisecond, which was a technical limit in some older systems.
